Putting babies into cots and pregnancy

So I'm 7 weeks pregnant and haven't told my work yet. I'm in a daycare so my job involves bending over cots to put sleeping kids in, usually one year olds. I still feel fine to do this but I'm afraid that if I tell them when I plan to, after first scan so about 12 weeks, then they will move me to a different age group.
Can they do that if I still feel fine to keep going? Am I able to tell them I don't want to move to a new group? I just took over from another staff member who

Is at that stage. They didn't want to move but they were told to so did.

I would think they would insist you move otherwise unfair on the other staff member

They said something about not being able to bend over the cots but surely each person's different.

They should do a risk assessment with you once you tell them. They may insist you move so they can't be held responsible if anything happens to you or the baby when you are bending over the cot even if you feel able to do this.
