New online passport

So pleased, have just renewed mine online, brilliant service, 10 day turn around from start to finish, no long forms to complete, £10 cheaper and can take your own photo so no fee there to pay, plus they can you updated every step of the way by text and email, so I knew if it had been approved and when it was being delivered..so for once this government has got a service right, most impressed!

We recently renewed a child passport online, brilliant service and very fast. I had someone else take the photo (Timpson, the shoe repairers!) and they were able to check immediately that it met the standard which was great. Text and email updates are useful too.

Could not agree more. Did mine a couple of weeks ago. So easy and had a new passport within five days!!!

Yes! Photo on my phone and I swear it only took about 3 days, pretty impressed

You don't need Timpsons to do it, you just get someone to take one on your phone & upload it. It then checks it automatically.
