Nc but I'm a reg.
Might not be the most thrilling thread ever, but hey ho 😂

There's been a car parked in my street, engine on and man in passenger seat. Fairly normal, right?
Except he's been there for TWO DAYS

At what point would you become concerned? If he's watching someone he's not being subtle about it!

I can’t breathe. 😹*

How is that so funny? What am I missing?

Bluelady · 26/01/2019 09:56

Is he alive?

Quartz2208 · 26/01/2019 09:57

I was about to ask if he was alive too!

JeremyCorbynsBeard · 26/01/2019 09:59

How old is he? #totallyirrelevant

Cuttingthegrass · 26/01/2019 10:05

Is he still there ?

underneaththeash · 26/01/2019 10:34

I would certainly report. What if he's awaiting for someone to emerge from the safe house to attack them?

woollyheart · 26/01/2019 10:39

I would report him. He must be waiting for someone to come out.

He shouldn't be leaving his engine idling all the time either.

darksideofbuttonmoon · 26/01/2019 10:45

We had a similar sounding situation near us. He was basically living out of his car. Working during the day and sleeping in the car with the engine running for warmth at night. He started off parked on a residential street and drove the neighbours nuts with the sound of the engine and his, umm, 'deposits'. After a couple of weeks he drove out after the village a little and parked up in a layby for a while. Not seen him recently so guess he's moved on again.

Shouldistayorshouldifrodo · 26/01/2019 11:02

He's still there!
If I had to guess I'd say he's between 30 and 40 aha 😂
He's definitely alive, he's on the phone most of the time

Definitely suspicious so the Police should be made aware. I don't know if 'loitering with intent' is still an offence, particularly from the confines of a vehicle.

Shouldistayorshouldifrodo · 26/01/2019 16:58

He's still there! Though I can confirm he does leave- he wasn't there earlier but has returned now.
Neighbour says she's seen him chilling there too, in the back seat though.

So maybe he is just living out of his car?
To report or not report?
my life is so exciting

Go and see if he wants a brew?? Grin

KitKat1985 · 26/01/2019 17:38

My guess is he's homeless and keeping the engine running for warmth.

artisanscotcheggs · 26/01/2019 18:06

I'm gonna go with the homeless thing too. Lots of folks are living out of their cars unfortunately.
