Thinking for May or October half term and In an air bnb accommodation. Somewhere nice with lots to do for under 7’s. Nice seaside close by possibly.

Suffolk. It's a lovely county - loads to do/see and lots of beaches. Although you'd be better off driving there if you want to get around to do things.

Weymouth, Swanage

Northumberland. 4 hours on train from kings cross. Amazing Beaches, chips, seals, puffins, castles and Alnwick station bookshop.

North Norfolk is within 3 hours including a quick toilet stop!
Cromer is lovely and half an hour from the amazing Bewilderwood. We’ve been a few times and manage to tie it in with a trip to Wrexham Miniature Worlds which my Dc love just as much as Bewilderwood! They also like the Poppy Line steam railway, Redwings Horse sanctuary, the Shire Horse centre at Upper Sheringham, Splash indoor water park at Sheringham, the little funfair on beach, indoor playcentre at Wells Next the sea, boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney point, trampolining and rowing boat hire and crazy golf.
