Is it normal with back and neck pain to have an upset stomach?

I have done something to my back and neck which means I am in huge amounts of pain. I have taken painkillers, they are barely touching it.

Even worse I have an upset stomach and feel sick.

Is this all just part of the same thing?

If it's ibuprofen you've taken then that's what has upset your stomach.

As pp said ibuprofen can cause pain & stomach upset ,there are also other painkillers that will too.

Have you been In touch with Gp or pharmacy? I find ours really helpful with medication or things I don't want to bother Gp with .

Check out that the painkillers aren't causing it.

I used to get pain in my lower back. it was like a spasm that would last about half an hour. That would cause referred pain into my stomach. So perhaps your sickness is triggered by referred pain.
