Does anyone put on foundation daily?

I feel a bit of a diva doing this but feel it makes all the difference. Just foundation and eyeliner seems to make me go from average/icky to like really really made up nicely.

Does anyone else wear foundation daily?

I've seen a lot of women wear mascara daily which I definitely don't do (mainly the hassle of taking it all off the lashes daily)

No, most days but not all. I do do my eyebrows every day though

MissMogwai · 24/01/2019 23:01

I wear it everyday as I'm bad enough with it on, never mind without!

Foundation, concealer, mascara, blush and a bit of powder and I look slightly less nackered.

Starlight90 · 24/01/2019 23:06

Full face every day. Unless im ill!

I think it looks very aging

Really? That is surprising. What are you using?

JITSOG · 25/01/2019 10:02

Everyday here.

Primer, foundation, mascara, eyebrow mascara, blush, highlighter.

I look awful without it. I apply it to enhance the features. No caterpillar eyebrows though and I don’t trowel it on!

EllaDownTheLane · 25/01/2019 10:09

Yes full face everyday and I work outside in all weathers and don’t often bump into people. A very light coverage foundation and a little powder to set it. Swoop of blusher, liquid liner and mascara but never overdo it and always wearing lip balm especially this time of year.

anxiousmumma2 · 25/01/2019 10:15

I don't wear it daily. I used to but I just haven't got as much energy anymore.
But then when I do wear it, I feel amazing. Feel so awake and refreshed! 😂

Fazackerley · 25/01/2019 10:16

I didn't until I discovered boots intelligent colour.

MamaRaisingBoys · 25/01/2019 10:19

No. My skin isn’t that bad tbf but I would like to look more put together sometimes, I just can’t seem to make it suit me for some reason

BellsaRinging · 25/01/2019 10:19

No, only wear it very occasionally. If I am wearing make up at all it's likely to be lippy, eyeliner and concealer. Foundation just seems to get everywhere, wear off really quickly and mostly looks really in natural on me. Also I don't have the time!

Permanentlydisaffected · 25/01/2019 10:22

Takes 2 minutes, wear it every day. Look ghastly without it.

Luxembourgmama · 25/01/2019 10:23

monday to friday yep for work.

BitchQueen90 · 25/01/2019 10:26

Not at the weekends as I like to let my skin breathe (unless I'm going on a night out) but I do on weekdays to look put together for work. I fill in my eyebrows as well as they are very fair and invisible and put on natural lip balm, don't wear mascara or eyeliner as I have eyelash extensions.

pilates · 25/01/2019 10:43

Yes I do but it’s minimal and natural looking.

Racecardriver · 25/01/2019 10:45

Not every day but frequently. I have terrible skin.

Notquiteagandt · 25/01/2019 10:47

I am in the middle consealer and bareminerals. So no foundation for me but ut gives great coverage. With out being to heavy.

1wokeuplikethis · 25/01/2019 10:54

I do every day. It’s not a mask or because I’m ashamed of my face though. My face is fine as it is, but a bit of slap makes it look far better. I also adore lipstick. So I get pleasure from having a nicer face than I woke up with!

Birdsgottafly · 25/01/2019 10:56

"Who (who wears make up) isn’t putting foundation on every day?"

I had to stop wearing foundation when I had lymph node and Menopause issues, which caused facial sweating/redness. I still did my eyes, because being 51, I still like the way makeup opens them up.

When the weather went colder, I could wear Bare Minerals.

Things have lessoned and I'm on HRT and I'm looking forward to being able to wear liquid foundation.

Because I couldn't wear foundation, I did look after my skin really well. Doing peels, RF, upping my moisturiser ingredients and having a HIFU.

It's a lot less effort to wear foundation.

icannotremember · 25/01/2019 10:57

Yes. I've years of acne scars, patches of redness and thread and spider veins. I feel 100% better and more confident and comfortable when I have a good foundation on. My daily makeup is foundation, eyeliner and blusher, usually a bit of eyeshadow as well, but I cba doing mascara and lips unless I am going out out.

I don't care what other people do with their faces- as long as you're happy with your choice I'm happy for you- so I wouldn't pay any attention to what other people thought of me wearing/ not wearing makeup!

BooseysMom · 25/01/2019 11:00

Only for special occasions do I bother with it. I like to let my skin breathe too. I wear matte powder for work as I have oily skin and just natural tones of eye shadow, eye liner (Colour me Beautiful 'coffee' shade by far the best for me) and mascara every day if going out. I look like I've been dug up in the mornings so essential really so I don't frighten the horses!!

Crimson72 · 25/01/2019 11:01

Only if I'm going out - if I'm at home all day I don't bother!

saganorenscarandcoat · 25/01/2019 11:02

Yes otherwise I look like I've just been dug up

Jemimapuddleduk · 25/01/2019 11:06

Yes without fail including going to gym or staying in the house. We don’t get much sleep in our house and I need to it to stop me looking like a corpse. I use foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. I still get the ‘you look tired comments’ ffs. No shit Sherlock, I have a 5yo and a 4yo. 4yo is autistic and gorgeous but utterly exhausting.

Mojitomogul · 25/01/2019 11:07

I feel like my skin looks better without it, i do use a liquid concealer, powder and blusher and bronzer ( i do love my make up) but whenever i use foundation i feel like it hides any natural glow and feels so heavy. However for big events or nights out i do sometimes wear it for a more polished look.

firstbrightday · 25/01/2019 11:10

No, I line my eyebrows and put on lots of mascara and some lipstick. Occasionally eyeliner. It means I look more 'special' when all dressed up with a full face of make up on

I wore full makeup over Christmas quite a bit and I really noticed how awful my skin was. It's just getting back to normal now.
