How much do you spend on makeup, skincare and hair per month and what's your approx salary/income?

Feel free to split it into sections separately for makeup, skincare (inc. hair removal) and hair stuff and give details if you like :)

You know the rules. You go first.

Hair £50 every 6 weeks
Nails £20 every 2 weeks
Make up £30 every 4 weeks
Skincare £5 a month (very sensitive skin and can’t use loads of skincare products.)

Salary £90,000

I earn a 6-figure salary, but I spend hardly anything. I’d estimate about £10 per month.
Skincare: moisturiser (Simple) and lip balm (Vaseline).
Hair: shampoo, conditioner and a heat protection product (all currently VO5).
No make up - don’t see the point (and it irritates my skin).

£22k
Tesco moisturiser 2 quid every 2 or 3 months, no make up, haircut twice a year at about 25 quid, shampoo whatever is on special offer, no conditioner every month as DSs share it.

Jsmith99 · 24/01/2019 21:32

Almost nothing, ie

Reccy2018 · 24/01/2019 21:34

£40k salary.

£40 hair a year
£0 nails
I ask for few bits of make up and clinque skincare products for Christmas presents from my mum and husband so £0 for those too 😂

NeverTwerkNaked · 24/01/2019 21:34

Skin- approx £1/ month (provably buy something like a face mask a couple of times a year on a whim)
Hair - i guess about £8 a month (including hairdresses and shampoo etc)
Makeup - approx £3 a month (rarely use it, just the odd bit of blusher / mascara)
Nails - approx £5 a month (get gel nails every few months as a treat)

So approx £17 a month.

I prefer to spend on adventures with the family (theatre, eating out, holidays, day trips) and on clubs for the kids (they have some quite expensive hobbies!)

Salary approx £40k

Nothing Blush

Getabloominmoveon · 24/01/2019 21:37

Skin £10 per month
Nails - couple of bottles of varnish and do it myself, so virtually £0
Eyebrows - £20 every 3 months
Hair - £100 every 3 months

And hardly anything on clothes either, as have loads in the wardrobe
6-figure salary

rookiemere · 24/01/2019 21:44

Hair - probably averages about £30 per month
Skincare - £10 per month maybe less - used to use expensive brands but realised Simple products seem just as good
Makeup- £5 a month maybe - again used to love Bobbi Brown but no longer fancy the high prices
Hair removal and eyebrow waxing - £15 per month

Reasonable salary middle earner. Used to spend much, much more but don't enjoy it any more.
