Yorkshire Hard Water Tea Bags and De-caff

I have given up trying to find a de-caff tea that doesn't taste like chemical waste so went back to Yorkshire tea bags, the gold ones.

However as our water is so hard it comes out of the tap in chunks I bought the hard water ones, and they are foul, they taste like strong de-caff.

What do they do to them to make them so disgusting?

Is there anything as good as the Yorkshire gold ones? I used to buy Barrys but went off them and none of the others seem as good.

We use a Brita jug. Can still get the Yorkshire Gold, but sometimes they vary in quality a bit too much and it is like using the weaker ones.

Pleased I am not alone in thinking the hard water ones are peculiar, they were on offer otherwise I wouldn't have bought them.

I used to get the Aldi ones some years ago but they aren't so good these days.

I have tried the Lidl de-caf, I thought they were OK but must have confused them with their normal ones or something, the ones that were OK but weak were rectangular, bought a pack of the de-caf and discovered they were round, they taste horrible.

Sorry but nutmeg is not for me, Marmite. Have lots of herbal type teas in the house and I never drink any of them, only builders tea, I have tried many times to cut down or drink something else, I just can't do it.

I will make a note of the ones recommended on the thread, thank you.
