How much will this cost??

My DH wants to travel to America (around the Gand Canyon) with our DS hire an RV and tour for a week or so. Has anyone done similar donthey can give us an idea of how much they will need?

I dont mean to sound rude here but how long is a peice of string?
depends what your eating habits are, what you want to see, etc etc?
