CF has taken my bin.

My bin is pretty clean, it usually gets a wash every 6 months or so. Just took some rubbish out and I've been left with a disgusting, damaged one. Definitely taken by a CF, as I got our regular one in this morning.

It had our house number on, when DH gets home I'm going hunting.

If you're out there, CF, I'm coming. For my bin.

Happened to us, no sign of it until I finally spotted it several streets away. Stole it back.

Weeks later that should have read.

Some CF stole our bin about two years ago and the council said if we wanted another it would cost us £30. On bin day I’ve been stuffing our bin bags in other people’s bins ever since!

Someone swapped one of my recycling bins today! No number on it! My shiny paper recycling bin has been replaced with a dull, mucky one!

I painted "Please do not steal me" on the side of our (extra large) bin along with the house number. Not even my neighbours are cheeky enough to steal that

No luck! We lost our one of our lidded recycling boxes a few months back - swapped out for a broken, filthy one.

Bin day I'm going to be standing outside, giving everyone the stink-eye 😂

OP I think you should take a leaf out of @HeyMicky 's book and get creative with some paint to warn off the CFs! When you get it back that is..

I do wonder why these CFS are thieving all these bins. What in God’s name have they done with their own to make it unusable!!

Oooh binanigens!!

I got new recycling boxes with lids from our council a few months ago. They were lovely and clean and numbered.

Last week on emptying day someone stole one of them and left a broken smelly dripping one in its place. Next week they get emptied again so I’ll be looking to see who has it !

Bin found, left out on path at some point after we left for work this morning (I'm assuming as I've just come home to it)

Other bin gone. Clearly the bin thief got worried when they saw this thread. 😂

Bin thief, we shall say no more - but don't try that shit again.
