Waterpark recommendations Midlands please

Hi,

Could anyone recommend a good waterpark in the Midlands or within 1/1.5 hours drive please?? It looks like Splash Landings at Alton Towers is fully booked as it won't let me click the dates for this weekend, we did Calypso Cove in Barnsley last weekend and we don't like Waterworld at Stoke as the water was freezing and the changing rooms disgusting last time we went!

I have googled but it doesn't bring much other than these ones! Our nearest is Watermeadows but we go there quite often so fancy somewhere new. We like slides, waves etc, DC are 9 and 11 and good swimmers.
Thanks in advance!

@passthepig Doncaster Dome toddler pool has a few slides & water fountain/jet thingys. My 3 year old daughter loved it but it gets pretty packed.
Enjoy your day OP

@FurryScoob Thanks! Will give it a go one weekday I think when it might be less busy.

I used to take DN on a Sunday morning and be there to queue for opening so it wasn’t as busy.

Reporting back as promised!! We had an awesome day at the Doncaster Dome, three hours swimming and 1.5 hours ice skating for £22 for me and 2 kids. Really enjoyed it so thank you for the recommendations!!!

Only thing I d say is take flipflops, the changing room and toilet floors are rank and the showers are freezing. We liked the lazy river best, outdoor pool in January! !!

@Passthepigs the toddler area looked fab I d def go but take flipflops and shower when you get home!!

I''m so pleased you enjoyed your day out. We could do a tour of the waterparks. Women who should know better screaming "Aaaaaaaaaargh! Why are you doing this to me? You big, fat, plastic piece of shit?" And then getting straight back on it.

@Girlicorne Hald youbhad s great day! My niece used to love it and it was always great value for money.

Thanks for looking at the toddler area, will definitely give it a go and take our flip flops! We usually shower at home anyway, toddler has a huge water aversion if it involves getting clean and yet loves swimming!
