How often do you shower/bath your young DCs?

My DCs (2 and 5) are showered or bathed every day. The only exception might be the odd Saturday if we've just had a lazy day at home. My eldest has long hair that's washed twice a week. She's in school, youngest is in childcare.

Is this pretty standard in most households or is every day too often?

Mine get bathed every other day unless they have got especially mucky .

Every other day here mostly (aged 1 and 2), occasionally less or more depending on circumstance

Twice a week, unless mucky as he has dry skin. More in summer.

Every other day for DD (21 months). She hates bathing though as she doesn’t like having her hair washed so it becomes stressful. If it wasn’t for that I would do it every day.

My two DDs everyday, ones 5 and the other two I don't think they need it but it's become part of the routine and they both enjoy playing in the bath together.

Mine are also 2 and 5 and bathe every day apart from the odd day when I can't be arsed and give them a quick wipe. I like smelling their fresh clean hair.....

Once a week for my 1-year-old 😬 He just doesn’t get very mucky - I guess I’d do it more during summer when he was outside more.

Everyday it’s part of their bedtime routine, just an easier way to top and tail them (although they are 4 & 5 so don’t suppose it’s called that). Wash hair twice a week normally....

16 months old, bathed every day, hair as needed - I'm very big on routine and she likes soaking with her toys.

Mine is five years old and twice a week on Dr's orders for eczema. He'll get a third if he comes home from school filthy or gets very sweaty running about.

Hands and face twice a day minimum though
