Where to buy really good pyjamas?

Endofrelationship · 22/01/2019 18:33

I gave birth 4 days ago so am up in the night A LOT! I've never had really nice pyjamas, always old t shirts or supermarket ones.

Where can I get really nice ones? Want to treat myself.

And yes, this is possibly the most boring thread ever!

I came here to suggest Sainsbury's but then saw the supermarket comment Smile.

I miss good old BHS for pjs.

Sproutingcorm · 22/01/2019 18:37

Esprit?

mummmy2017 · 22/01/2019 18:38

Primark fleece ones, warm and cosy, and you can afford a few pairs.... So ring the changes.

Hush or Toast if you're feeling flush

Processedpea · 22/01/2019 18:39

Uniqlo also fat face do snuggly pyjamas

winterisstillcoming · 22/01/2019 18:40

Oysho looks amazing. They have loungewear so you don't need to rush to get ready in the mornings.

TSSDNCOP · 22/01/2019 18:41

White Company. I thought it wasn’t possible to feel glamorous in pajamas. Think again TSS! Great sale on, but honestly they’d be worth it at full price.

confusedandemployed · 22/01/2019 18:42

I bought a lush soft navy top with tiny moons and stars sewn on in the Tesco sale the other day. They had matching bottoms. It is truly the softest, most snuggly (but not too hot) thing I have ever worn.

Loungewearfan · 22/01/2019 18:42

Mint velvet have some lovely ones.

AnotherEmma · 22/01/2019 18:43

I like Gap PJs
FatFace are expensive but nice

Above all they have to be 100% cotton, no polyester crap in my sleepwear thank you very much

Asta19 · 22/01/2019 18:43

Honestly, I wouldn't shop at Primark for day time clothes but their pyjama choice is great. I have several pairs from there and they always wash well and are really comfy. I tried a couple of nighties from there and they shrunk and did that annoying seam shifting thing but the pyjamas I've had no problems with. I know you want fancy ones but you could buy several pairs there for the price of one fancy pair!

Grumpbum123 · 22/01/2019 18:45

Next and Sainsbury’s

JellySlice · 22/01/2019 18:47

Costco has some lovely flannelette PJs ATM. Very nice, and the bottoms have pockets!

I’d wait until you are further on postpartum (ie no leaky boobs) but Desmond & Dempsey are divine but ££££

user1457017537 · 22/01/2019 19:03

Chelsea Peers or Bonsoir

Kindlethefourth · 22/01/2019 19:04

ASDA. Don't shrink in the tumble dryer whereas I find Primark and Sainsbury's do.

AnotherEmma · 22/01/2019 19:05

Can't people read?

Fairylea · 22/01/2019 19:06

Marks and Spencer’s do lovely pjs. So comfy and always wash and wear well. I can’t stand them for anything else but always get my nightwear from them.

Kindlethefourth · 22/01/2019 19:10

Yes I can read. I skim read the post. I apologise unreservedly to the OP if my well intentioned mention of a supermarket has caused her untoward distress.

NC4Now · 22/01/2019 19:13

Fat face are the cosiest, comfiest pyjamas known to man, woman or child.
