So both my DD's got these for Christmas and they don't work - at all. Absolute waste of money and looking at the reviews for them since Christmas day none of them actually work. I'm seriously cross at having spent £100 on what are now essentially plastic unicorns. They've been opened and used so I don't think I can take them back now (plus Father Christmas brought them) but I am enraged at the waste of money and the disappointed girls I now have.
Anyone else get one of these and done anything about it not working?

Where did you buy them? Take them back and say they don't work

This was on that phillip schofield present show before Xmas.

He demonstrated it and the general consensus was that it's crap and a waste of money.

Ours works.

We got them from smyths but I don’t think I can take them back we got rid of the packaging. I’ve got to say I’m more bothered than they are, they got lots of lovely things they are happy with, I’m the one annoyed at the waste of money.

I don't think you need packaging to return a faulty item.

Jens303 · 22/01/2019 16:28

surely you can take them back stating they aren't fit for purpose - I would definitely give it a go, the worst they will say is no but you never know, they may have got a faulty batch & be aware of a problem.
