I’d love to take my kids to this but I’ve just seen that a ticket for a family of 4 would set you back £140!! Even if I only took my eldest I’d have to pay almost £80!!

Does anyone know if they ever do discounts / special offers?

On their website there are days that are cheaper but I think it's weekday during school times.you have to look on the website to see which days they offer but unfortunately the price is still high then.

If you love Harry Potter it's worth every penny. It is amazing!

How old are your kids?

I think you get more out of it being older, and if money is tight I wouldn't take a child who hasn't seen all of the films yet.

When we went, we took DD2 who was then 10 or 11. She had read the first 2 and a bit books and had seen the same in films. She enjoyed it, but we had to steer her past the set ups from more gruesome scenes later on.

You may also want to budget for buying stuff in the shop, which isn't cheap.

These seem to offer deals on tickets, worth a look.

Thanks all! I might wait till they are a bit older. We’re reading the goblet of fire at the moment so plenty of Harry Potter material to enjoy before splashing out on the studio tour!!

it is fantastic - DH hates Harry Potter but took me & DSS for my birthday & even he really enjoyed it

Absolutely amazing experience. As it’s so expensive I would wait until you’ve seen all of them though. We were there for the full (I think it was) three hours and could have stayed longer.

DH surprised me with tickets while we were in London for my birthday last year and it was fantastic, worth every penny. He is not a HP fan at all, hasn't read any of the books but even he enjoyed it so much that he asked to borrow my books!

That lasted about a day and a half, then he asked to watch all of the films instead Grin
