Quirky afternoon tea for 16th birthday

Dd will be 16 soon and would like to have afternoon tea with her friends. She's looking for something a bit different.

Does anyone have any ideas of where she could go in London that won't cost the earth?

The Glam Rock Afternoon Tea in the K West Hotel, by Westfield, is relatively reasonable and good fun.

www.k-west.co.uk/studio-kitchen link to menu is on this page

Sketch is supposed to be very cool- less ‘traditonsl’ More quirky afternoon tea.

It’s £45 a head I think so pricey, but what’s your budget?

We did a chocolate tea for DD's 16th - hot chocolate, chocolate scones with white chocolate spread, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake and... a choice of normal sandwiches (thankfully!). Just a little tea shop, Alice in wonderland themed though.

I found mine on group on, worth checking them out.

There's a place that does mad hatters tea parties.........the Sanderson in London.

If you look on YouTube there are videos. It looks amazing, don't think It's overly expensive either

The Mad Hatters at the Sanderson is fab, but it's £48pp and their website shows they're not taking any bookings past 31/1 for some reason.

There's an afternoon tea bus that takes you round London as you have afternoon tea, I think it's called BBs.
