I’m thinking of going to a concert that’s on a Monday ... roughly how do times work? What time do they tend to start? 02 just says doors open at 6pm.. what time roughly would it start and roughly would it end? Is the traffic going to be hell coming in from the south? I’m quite rural and don’t know wether to get a train or drive.... as it’s a week day it will be manic won’t it??

Most concerts start around 7.30/8. The train station is 2 min walk away and very efficient. Coming in to a main station will be easy - you will be going against the people traffic! The busy bit will be that last train but it won’t be for long. There is parking but you need to pre-book and just might take you a while to get out of.
Most concerts finish between 10.15 and 10.30pm.
It’s actually a great venue and the set up is very efficient. Lots of restaurants, too, if you are happier going in earlier to miss some of the traffic or people and then having a meal first.

I went on the 15th Dec.
I went by train, and it wasn't as bad as I expected. The station staff were obviously very practised in controlling the crowds. There was a short wait getting into the station directly outside the o2, but it moved along steadily.
The o2 itself was really really busy, our event was sold out. But honestly it's set up and staffed to cope with crowds. It's managed really efficiently.
My event started at 8pm, we got there at 7pm, went to a bar for a drink (which was absolutely packed, but got served ok)
Took our seats at 7.40. Our event finished about 10.30.
If you Google the event your seeing you should be able to find the running time so you will know what time you will be leaving.
Have a fab time.

Hi usually the doors open at 6pm then there is a support act at about 7pm for an hour or so. The main concerts tend to end 10pm-10.30pm ish

I come in from the south and drive as the trains are always too busy for me , I would advise pre-booking parking, getting there early to get a space near to a speedy exit rather than right at the back of the car park.
I hope you have a great time

The train station is 2 min walk

Unless you have to traipse all the way to and from one of the rear entrances to arena and make your way through thousands of people.
