Glenn Close thinks it's a myth that women lose their sexuality as they get older.

The 71-year-old actress - who has been married and divorced four times - has insisted that her sexuality has not been diminished by the passing of time.

The Hollywood legend shared: 'It's one of the great myths that you lose your sexuality as you get older,' she said

I think I lost mine when I was about 25.

How the use of the word "sexuality" has changed over the past few years!
I was.thinking of LGB status rather than libido/desire. Oops.

I think it's a sexist myth that women do yes.
Some do of course but not all.
I should imagine that some women have a revival of sex drive once their children are grown up and independent.

Speaking for herself obviously. Post menopause I have no libido at all and feel almost gender-free, neutered, I suppose. Its not a problem, is a relief to me to have lost the sexual imperative which led me to make many poor decisions.

I think she means libido/sex drive

Men have problems physically with their prostates according to loads of articles I have read plus other ailments which can lead to impotence. Women do not so it stands to reason that it is easier for us than them as we age.
