Good nurseries and primary schools around Aylestone, Leicester

Hello everyone...can anyone advise on really good nurseries and primary schools around the Aylestone (Leicester) area?
We have a 3yr son who's fairly bright and creative and we would love an encouraging environment for him to continue to thrive.
We will consider private establishments also.

Please avoid Little Stars Limited on Aylestone Road. It has a good ofsted but that’s just a snapshot when the staff will be on their best behaviour. In reality they’re inexperienced and don’t know how to manage the kids. They also frequently run at low staff ratios, the staff member is technically there but never in the room.

Granby School is supposed to be good.
My children go to a small private school, but it’s a small distance away.

Hi Jimdandy, thanks for the heads up. What's the private school you send them too, as I don't mind travelling if I can still get to work on time...?
