Catch 22 - returning to work

Been a SAHM for 4 years. Recently offered a chance to get back to work. It’s an opportunity to get back to my old professions, part-time, term time only and fits around child care. So in a word - fantastic.

However I have almost been thwarted by childcare. My salary is paid 1 month in lieu. Which mean I have been working for 9 weeks until I get paid. I have to pay childcare in advance. So month one I pay £750, month two another £750 so 1500 before I get paid anything at all, then come the 3rd month I have to find another £750 two days before I finally get paid £1200. Ouch.

I know it will sort itself out in the end but it’s yet another hurdle to returning to work. I wonder what the solution might be?

Anyone else got stuck by this and has anyone got any ideas?
