Are you a maternity care assistant?

Hello,

I have an interview for a maternity care assistant position, which I think sounds great I was just wondering if it is?
Do you enjoy your job? Do you find it hard doing the shifts? I have a 5 year old daughter so I’m a bit worried about missing out on family life.

Have you seen the Emma Willis program that was on about this recently? I’ve no idea how realistic it is about the day-to-day aspects of the role, but it might be good for background info.

I'd really like to work as a maternity care assistant. I've applied to do some voluntary work on our local maternity ward to see if I'd be any good at it.
I'm also a bit worried about working shifts as I've never done it before!
