Facial hair....just a coincidence?

I have facial hair on my chin, it grows very quickly and have to pluck them out near enough every other day.

For the last week i have been in bed due to a nasty chest infection and I am on a course of antibiotics. Due to this i have not been applying make up or moisturiser.

I have noticed that over the last week i have barely had any hairs on my chin. So my question is this - Do antibiotics stop hair growth? Would being un well stop hair growth? Or do you think that by applying make up and moisturiser i have been stimulating my skin which stimulates hair growth?

I think the hairs can go through a "fallow" period.

Chin hair is such an effing pain Blush

My totally unscientific opinion is that maybe your chest infection means that your body is focussing on healing itself so the hair growth has slowed down.

Trying stopping your routine for a while after you have recovered and see how you get on.

Are you missing the wiry feckers sprouting out of your chinny chin chin? Oh how joyous it would be to have an antibiotic to stop the facial hair growth.
Get well soon OP and happy plucking. Grin
