Sheffield city centre pubs

Can anyone recommend any pubs in Sheffield city centre for a quiet drink after work and maybe a decent vegetarian menu?

Is it definitely a pub that you want? Birdhouse kitchen is a nice cafe type place not far from the train station that does drinks and nice veggie food. Are you just visiting or do you know Sheffield already?

Been here a few times when visiting/dropping ds back at uni. Great vegetarian and vegan food and reasonably priced. Open until 8pm.

I'm quite new working in the city centre, looking for somewhere after work hours, I've been to the Blue Moon but didn't realise that was open late, that would be ideal. Most of the other cafes I know close by five.

I will ask ds if he has any suggestions but he is in the middle of exams at the moment so I might not get a reply for awhile.

Fat Cat - Kelham Island or Devonshire Cat - near Division Street. Though the last time I ate there the food wasn’t great
