DS Memory loss.. hospital?

OdeToDiazepam · 20/01/2019 14:30

Ds has come back from a roller skating party where I was told he'd fell and injured his elbow, he has swelling and bruising there.

However since I've picked him up he's been upset, crying, complaining of feeling sick and has asked me about 10 times what day it is, doesn't remember falling over, seems a bit confused and upset by not remembering what day it is, what we did yesterday etc..

YEs, a&E

strawberrypenguin · 20/01/2019 14:31

Yep. Hospital.
Hope he's on the mend soon.

SandunesAndRainclouds · 20/01/2019 14:31

Yes. A&E.

DustyMcDustbuster · 20/01/2019 14:32

A&E. Straight away.

WinterHeatWave · 20/01/2019 14:45

Yes, A&E, but pack a bag with the possibility of staying overnight. With food for you, because if your not the patient, they might not feed you. And money, and phone, and charger. And a clean pair of pants.
Never been so desperate for food and a shower after DS was blue lighted to A&E with concussion.
His best memory of tye night: getting to see a picture of the inside of his head (CT scan)

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 14:46

Definitely A&E. Flowers

Nellabella · 20/01/2019 14:46

UnicornSlaughters · 20/01/2019 14:47

A&E immediately. Hope he's soon feeling much better.

HollowTalk · 20/01/2019 14:48

I hope everything is ok.

SconNotScone · 20/01/2019 15:14

Sounds like concussion. Definitely a good idea to go to A&E. Memory loss, being more emotional than usual, and feeling sick are classic signs.

LynetteScavo · 20/01/2019 15:22

Yes, definitely A&E!

VoteForPedrosLlama · 20/01/2019 15:24

Absolutely A&E.

OdeToDiazepam · 20/01/2019 15:31

I'm here now, thanks everyone I'm a single parent so I like to check! Didn't manage to pack anything but my aunt can bring stuff if needed, had a very stressful drive here with ds in hysterics because he's fine apparently but can't even remember how he got back from the party and keeps forgetting why we're here !
