Having a nice break in a hotel in Elgin. In my room with the tea and coffee is a lovely little coffee biscuit. Googled the brand, went online to order 20 ( some for mum and home ) to be delivered to my house. Got the dispatch notification just now. I’ve bought 200. 200 biscuits. I did wonder why it cost 30 quid...🤦🏻‍♀️ Anybody want a biscuit?

Elgin in Morayshire? Everywhere is not nice!

I agree.

Good place if you fancy a fight on a Saturday night though 😂

LynetteScavo · 20/01/2019 13:07

I get those at my hairdressers and you get 2 in each packet, so maybe you have 400 biscuits. Or maybe you have 100 packets Confused

lotusbell · 20/01/2019 14:11

They are tiny so you'll get through them in...minutes

Maelstrop · 20/01/2019 15:16

You were done, OP! £20 for 300 on Amazon!

HollyBollyBooBoo · 20/01/2019 19:01

Hoping your new kazoo hobby goes well- do try not to get crumbs in it!

MorningsEleven · 20/01/2019 19:55

Please will you post a photo of your biscuits and the kazoo when they arrive so we can laugh at you a bit more?

FreddyFasbear · 20/01/2019 20:17

I will post when it all arrives. Kazoo due to arrive first. I don’t know what to do with a kazoo. It’s hot pink so I bought it. Christ, wtf am I going to do with the biscuits?!? Will they keep? I am considering packing loads into my campervan? Will that work?

MorningsEleven · 20/01/2019 20:22

If it's 200 boxes I want a photo of you in a bath full of them, playing your kazoo.

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 20:25

2 biscuits here please Freddy! Xmas Grin Well done!

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 20:33

It reminds me of the late, great CatThiefKeith and her godawful eggs. They were the result of drunken ebaying too.

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 20:38

Freddy, as much as I love your username, please change it to BIGGIANTKAZOOPLAYINGTIT. Xmas Grin

FreddyFasbear · 20/01/2019 20:38

I’m just off to eBay awful eggs. Turns out I can log on with my thumb print 😉

I second playing the kazoo everytime you open a packet.

I threw a fit and chucked all my socks to start again. Ordered 12 nice pairs figuring since I liked them I’d keep track better. I ordered 12 12 packs, a gross of socks! Everyone got socks.

elle1111112 · 20/01/2019 20:48

OP if you refuse the parcel it will be sent back to Amazon and you'll get a refund.

elle1111112 · 20/01/2019 20:49

^ That's assuming you ordered from Amazon!! May be different for other stores

MrsJackRackham · 20/01/2019 20:58

@smeeee I've stayed in the Royal Hotel in Elgin, decent sized rooms, good hairdryer and the food was lovely. It was taken over last year I think but I've not stayed in it since then. The Laich Moray is also nice. Both opposite Lidl for a swift wine run Smile If your budget stretches I'd stay in the Craigellachie hotel just outside Aberlour. Mine didn't Sad

MyGastIsFlabbered · 20/01/2019 21:47

I wouldn't even feel a tit ordering 200 biscuits, they'd last about a week here!

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 22:07

And a kazoo Gast?

MyGastIsFlabbered · 20/01/2019 22:31

Nowt wrong with a kazoo! I've just ordered my millionth lipstick this year so I'm not one to comment on excessive online shopping!

Singlenotsingle · 20/01/2019 22:35

I'll have to buy some now Confused

Singlenotsingle · 20/01/2019 22:41

Maybe not. I've just googled them. It's those little individually wrapped things you get in bars and restaurants. £9.99 for 225.
