A good holiday for single parents.

Hi! Hoping mumsnetters can help, I'm a single mum to a six year old boy. He's very sociable and I'd like to take him on a holiday (probably UK based) where he can find plenty of other kids to play with. I was very taken by the Acorn family holidays website but reviews are truly awful, so perhaps similar to this? If anybody have any good ideas or has been on a holiday that would suit us, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

@Ilovecrumpets and anyone else who fancies this. I've just come back from Barnutopia single parent takeover and it was fab!! I can't think of a holiday that both ds and I have enjoyed more. Friendly, comfortable, beautiful scenery and plenty to do there. I'm ready to go back already 😫

I used to use Mango and they were fab. We went to Woolacombe and Mallorca.
