Hi,

Anyone who suffered gestational diabetes in pregnancy and was later induced - did you always stay in 48 hrs later or did anyone come out earlier than that?

It's usually always at least 24 hours (as baby should have 3 blood sugar tests that are within range in a row before discharge) but each hospital policy is slightly different beyond that. Have you looked at the Gestational diabetes UK website and Facebook group? They are super knowledgeable and helpful! Good luck :)

We were kept overnight, they had to check DD's blood sugars over 24 hrs but once they were happy her sugar levels were ok we were allowed home.
