I'll answer any thread I please, it's a public forum after all.
Besides you asked:
Anyone else or am I am minority of one?
If you sat at a table with a thousand people and stood and said,
Anyone else for a cuppa or just me?
Do you think only those that want a cuppa would reply? Nope, everyone would.
If you only wanted people that were watching the show to respond, perhaps a better and less open title would have been,
"I'm watching that shit car show on Amazon with the over paid racist and violent thug presenting it. It's pretty good. I just hope he doesn't punch a producer and get sacked"
But then it doesn't really matter what you said, as soon as you mention a program or a topic or any subject on a public and open forum you invite responses by any member of that public forum because it is an open and public forum.
You could have started a topic on swollen ankles caused by pregnancy, and non pregnant folk could answer.
Or a topic on being a victim of domestic violence and then people who have never experienced it could answer.
Or you could start a topic on universal credit and you'd get lots of people responding even when they have never claimed universal credit. So on and so on.
Now I'm sure if you only wanted responses from people that were actually watching the show you were watching you could have found a dedicated forum for that show or a subreddit etc. Or you could have put this thread in the TV topic on this site, which may limited the amount of people open to the thread itself. But you didn't, you chose chat, which is, as mentioned, an open topic for anyone to respond to anything.
