I remember reading about a scientific study a few years ago, but my recollection is sketchy and I can't find anything about it.
It was looking at how consuming wine with food affected the blood alcohol level, I think one of the subjects was an Italian man who habitually drank wine with lunch.
I think it was in a popular scientific journal - I used to regularly read New Scientist, Scientific American and National Geographic, so more than likely it was one of those, but I've failed miserably at finding any reference to it.
Anyone remember this at all?
