Just done my first one. Legs shaking so much I could barely make it to the tap for water 😂 GOD that was hard! Or I'm very unfit....

Just watch when you step up - I ended up with a frozen shoulder!

BifsWif · 18/01/2019 19:00

If you think it hurts now, wait until the morning...

I had to go downstairs on my bum.

CalmDownPacino · 18/01/2019 19:34

I'm scared to get up off the sofa, I shuffled forward to reach my phone and my thighs were trembling! I fully expect abs tomorrow morning Grin

Stairs won’t be easy.... just saying

CalmDownPacino · 18/01/2019 20:57

How are you supposed to do it every day! Madness!

Do you need a lot of space to do it?!

CalmDownPacino · 18/01/2019 21:11

No not at all, I just did it in the living room in front of the TV, with a massive greyhound trying to join in!

Oh bugger, now I have no excuse not to start! Grin

i've done the 30DS before but started level 1 again yesterday after 3 weeks of doing nothing (got the lurgy over new year).

can go up stairs no bother but seriously nearly fell coming down stairs yesterday morning. did it again today and my legs are KILLING me tonight. level 1 does get easier, whereas level 3 still has me bright red and ready to die all the way through Wink

I'm actually able to move this morning so clearly I'm an elite athlete! Either that or it's going to kick in later!

3 years ago I did the 30 Day Shred, I never did any regular exercise at the time and I remember well the pain of that first week! I was sooo unfit. If you can get through Week 1, that is the worst part. Make sure you stretch well afterwards.

3 years on, I now exercise regularly (5x a week) and often do the advanced workouts on Jillian's app. Stick with it, if I can do it then you can too! Smile

It is worth it, stick with it. I definitely believe in no pain, no gain! Her other DVDs are good too if you want to change it up a bit after a while.

wowfudge · 19/01/2019 10:34

On the back of this thread I've just bought the DVD. I really need to do something and am often home alone during the week - sounds perfect for me. Usually find that after the first couple of days the being bent double and unable to sit easily goes away!

I gave up the 30 Day Shred as starting it from a position of zero fitness it knackered my knees.

Ended up having to see a physio who banned me from it.

Starting again now with FitnessBlender Low Impact and it is so much better - they are far less irritating, I'm still losing weight and getting fitter and I won't have to give up due to injury.

All that jumping is not great for people who have done absolutely nothing before.

CalmDownPacino · 19/01/2019 16:27

I can definitely say the pain is kicking in now! I hope this is going to be worth it.
