Where can I go to try on headphones?

I would really like some headphones that fit. I have weird shaped ears and they are different shapes! I have never had headphones that fit into my ears well, although the current Apple ones are the best.

I run 3 x a week and walk the last mile of my journey to work. I listen to music/podcasts but I am forever putting my headphones back in. I’ve tried £££ seinheisser running ones, cheap ones from TKMaxx, mid range ones, but none fit!

I’m intrigued by bone conducting headphones too.

I’ve tried the old fashioned style that goniver my head and sit on top of my ears, but they are really hot to run in.

Is there anywhere I can go to try on a few pairs? John Lewis? Richer Sounds? PC World?

Hi
I would add Apple store to your list, they’ll be at the expensive end of course.
In-ear ‘phones... generally you can’t try them for hygiene reasons, but if you took your own “buds” ( whatever they call the rubber/latex bits that go in your ear) maybe they might let you?

I'm sure John Lewis has quite a few set out in display which you can try.

HMV stores tend to have an audio display where you can try headphones on Smile

John Lewis.
Apple store
Some branches of currys and that kind of store
Lots of the brand specific stores have them to try too : Bose etc.

Though normally only over ear headphones. I can't imagine you can try in ear ones for hygiene reasons.

John Lewis, or Richer Sounds if they are still going.

one option is to look at custom moulded monitors. there are a couple of companies that i know of (there are others but i don't have experience of them). www.acscustom.com and www.read-audio.com. not cheap, but they do fit exactly!

I couldn't get on with earbuds until I found some with smaller ear pieces. The normal sized ones just made the inside of my ears really painful. I just searched on amazon for small earbuds, the pair I got are great, really comfy, quite cheap and lime green. I can wear them for ages with no problem at all.

You near a Decathlon store OP?

Www.decathlon.co.uk, Menu/accessories/electronics/earphones and MP3 players.
