Pain in breast

I've had pain in my boob for about 3 days.. it feels like the underwire of a bra is digging in. But it isn't. It's worse when I touch the area. I'm quite worried and plan to see GP on Monday.
Any advice or similar stories to get me through the weekend?

Just to add, definitely not period related.

I had sudden pain. Found a lump. It was gone 3-4 wks later. Nothing at all.

I’ve been to the dr twice in the last year for breast pain. Each time she has thoroughly examined me
and found nothing. Dr believes it is hormonal, most likely brought on by running two packs of the pill together (which I do fairly frequently). Since she first said this I have been trying to monitor and I do think there’s something in it, they are definitely a lot more painful after running two packs together. It usually hurts for a few days and then calms down

Are you wearing an underwired bra?

I had this just prior to Christmas, sharp jabbing pain in the side of the breast. I poked and prodded looking for a lump and couldnt find one but made it more painful doing so.

Went to GP who had a good feel and confirmed no lumps, said either hormonal or muscular and within 2 weeks it had subsided and haven't felt it since.

I had breast pain and found what I thought was a lump, GP thought so too and referred me to the breast clinic. The breast clinic had a very thorough exam and couldn’t find anything untoward. They did tell me that unexplained breast pain is quite common, and it’s quite unusual for breast pain to be related to a tumour.
Hope everything is ok for you Flowers
