Advice - super car watching over lunch in London

I am taking a foreign friend to London tomorrow. I was thinking of having lunch in/near Harrods because he loves cars, there are super cars galore in Knightsbridge, visitors always like to see Harrods.

I don't know Harrods or that area very well so I'm seeking advice. We can afford mid-range lunch not mega bucks. No special dietary requirements. Not a romantic lunch btw.

Any recommendations for where we can go for lunch with a view of the road and posh cars even if we have to sit outside with our coats on?

I think there is a caffe concerto or something like that opposite Harrods

I would prefer being on Park Lane, as the cars get up a bit more speed and tend to do lots of engine revving willy waving at the lights. There's lots of eateries - the Grosvenor, Dorchester, Nobu - all have windows on to PL so you could book and request a table with a view.

There is also a BMW showroom who totally don't mind boys with sticky fingers climbing in and out of the cars

Oh yes Park Lane - there’s also that car customisation shop (Barabus?) and alll the fancy cara outside the Dorchester and the hotel opposite whose name I forget.
