Armageddon - the movie

Does anyone know if this is suitable for a 13 year old?
I don’t mind a bit of mild swearing/violence but definitely don’t want any sex scenes!
Can anyone advise please?

There's a bit where Liv Tyler pops her head out of Ben Affleck's bed but I think that's about the racist bit. They also go to a strip club but I don't recall seeing much

It is rated 12 and apart from 1 fuck not sweary, no sex and apart from Ben Afflecks shit acting not a bad film.

I'd say it is but whatever the age, stock up in tissues.

DS watched it at the age of 0 and doesn’t seem to have suffered any ill -effects.

The strip club scene is the worst part imo. Perhaps a chat about that afterwards?
