Vinegar and baking soda

I’ve just put vinegar and baking soda in my washing machine on a hot wash. I then read that together they form a volcano. Ummm its not going to blow up is it?

Yes I panicked! It’s not broken!

I mixed them to clean grouting and I got a bit of fizzing that was all.

Ive done it plenty of times.

Why did you do it? Btw that makes great paste to scrub the loo with.

Brilliant for the sort of burnt on pans you'd normally have to bin.

Really? I must try it on my manky griddle pan too.

I use that combo to unclog drains (mainly bathroom sink ) of soap scum.

They just fizz for a bit, they don’t explode! we mix them all the time to make fizzy potions and volcano eruptions.
