Anyone know how I extend the ringer on my phone?

My grandma has the bt big button 100 phone and needs to extend the ringer as it only rings once before answerphone kicks in.
Can’t see anything on the manual on how to extend it. Anyone know?

Oh, I can't see any info on that. Is the answerphone a separate device?

Now I'm back home - in peace and quiet - I've just re-read through that info. So the answerphone is on the 1571 service? How odd that they don't give you info on how to extend the number of rings. I think you might have to phone BT.

That was a question I'd asked upthread, demented. I'm confused why the number of rings can't be changed on the phone itself - unless it is a separate device, so needs the handbook of the separate answerphone.
