Little things that make you feel good.

I’m on mat leave with a very needy baby and trying my best to keep my mental health together by making the house nice etc.

Just looking for some ideas to make my day a bit brighter.

Little things I do are:

  • Ironing the baby’s clothes with ironing water (weirdly I like ironing and find it therapeutic!)
  • I bought a candle burner so I’ve been lighting that most days and it’s cheaper than buying the pots. Smile
  • Fresh flowers from Lidl. Super cheap and seem to last ages
  • Lots of Oreo biscuits
  • Opening the windows to let fresh air in
  • Watching Gilmore girls and drinking (decaf) coffee from my favourite mug.
  • Writing a cleaning to do list.
  • Having lots of healthy food in the fridge for lunch like avocados/ smoked salmon (even though the biscuits cancel it out!)

What do you do when you’re at home?
