Do any parents on here have epilepsy? How do you manage when it's hard?

I was just wondering how any of the parents who have epilepsy cope with day to day life such as work, looking after children, health etc. Would be nice to have a chat with some others in the same boat. I have an 8 month old and work part time 22 hours a week. I've been lucky in that I've only a few myoclonic seizures since he's been born but last night I had my first tonic clonic in a long time. I'm feeling a bit fragile this morning but unlike when I was younger i can't recover on the sofa or in bed and have to chase after a baby all day while recovering! Any advice anyone? Thank you

Me! I normally have absence seizures but ended up rushed to hospital on Wednesday after 9 tonic clonic seizures. Still feeling a bit worse for wear now to be honest. I work full time and am married with a DS and two step children. I generally cope well apart from times like this which are a complete blur. Happy to chat.
