Abscess? Do I do put something on it?

So, I have some kind of abscess which has appeared today on my shoulder.

Do I put anything on it?

If it gets worse I will see a GP, but typically I can't get to one tomorrow as I'm working.

Will keep an eye on temp etc.

Do I use Savlon or similar in the meantime?

It's about the size of a grape.

I had one and thankfully it drained itself. A warm wet cloth (like a flannel) was put over mine for a while (about 15 mins). I used to do it every few hours.
