So it’s looking like on Sunday we will get 2ft of snow dumped on us, daytime temp of -8c dropping to -17 at night, that’s not taking into account the windchill.

Today we stocked up on food and now have 20L of petrol in cans for the generator.

I am actually looking forward to it. My inner Prepper is happy and shouting Yey this is what we have been training for!!

If its the tardis, that would explain why the construction crew seem to disappear at a moments notice.... now its all making sense

We haven't had very much - maybe 5". Very fine snow that's been blown about so it's quite hard to tell how much there really is.

I haven't tried leaving the house. We've got the woodstove going, we ate waffles, we're going to play some card games. It's nice to have a reason to just slow down and take it easy.

The sitting room really does need vacuuming so perhaps a little power cut would be OK.

ZOMBIE THREAD

@brodito why are you replying to a thread that's over 2 1/2 years old?

They're spamming @EmmaGrundyForPM. I guess it's quiet season for tractor snow blower sales!

Not going to lie I did read this and, before noticing the date thought fuck me climate change is bad if it’s like that in Sept 🤨
