Mine fell into some boots that live under the coats on the shoe rack once.
They were lined and when i did a quick shake of all the shoes I couldn’t hear them.
It wasn’t until a hour later when i kicked the shoes over in a rage that the keys rolled out 🙃
Sooooo maybe phsyically turn and shake any shoes to check those.

Mine were on the garden wall outside. They were there for a couple of weeks (was using the spare).

A drawer I have been in, they always are!

Under the car? Has a child put them somewhere safe? My niece did that with her mum's car key. In the fridge?

I have a spare car key and a spare house key so I can get out when I've done the same thing many times

It was switched off. My car keys were in there along with my work ID badge and a biro. All I can think is I put them in there to wipe the kitchen counters and forgot but I never normally do. Half convinced DH put them there just to fuck with me.. or maybe baby brain is just well and truly in force

My DC used to post stuff through the letterbox. I once left my keys in the fridge and the tv remote in the washing basket.
