sertraline and balance

I’ve been started on 25mg sertraline to see if it helps with severe OCD ... have woken up this morning and legs aren’t working right eg they’re tightening up when I try to walk - it’s a bizzare sensation . I can walk but definitely don’t feel right and totally off balance - had to hold on to wall to get to bathroom this morning and can’t stand up straight if not holding something . Not sure if that’s a normal side effect ? Only other one I’ve had is agitation but that’s settling slowly ... I’m on day 3 or 4 now . Just wondering if anyone had any experiences like this !

Bump.. have felt a bit better throughout the day but slept from 9-12.30 or so and had horrendous nightmares. Very wary of taking the tablets now !!

Do you take them morning or evening?

I felt very dizzy while taking it. Can't remember how long it lasted though, sorry.

Evening , it’s eased off slightly over the day but still not right . I’ve spent much of the day doing nothing at all . Due to go out tomorrow to uni and to try and walk rather than take a taxi - part of the anxiety - and that’s already worrying me .

Mine ended. I now get it if I forget to take my sertraline for a few days. But I am on 100mg.

Anxiety is very very very severe

How are you now?

It’s normal for anxiety to increase while the tablets start to work. If it gets unbareable your doctor can prescribe something to help.
