Miscarriage or period ? Someone please help !

Hi I’m 17 and couldn’t find any other page to find to talk about this , i was 8 days late for my period and come on a day ago now and was heavy straight away had the normal period pain like I normally do out today as I’ve went to change my pad I have noticed a grey fleshy looking weird shape on my pad and have read a few things online and has scared me abit ? I would love for someone to tell me if they’ve experienced the same or if they know what it could possibly be, thankyou X

What’s a decidual cast ?

Lining of the uterus that has been shed (totally normal!). But it a larger price than usual. Maybe google it and see if it looked like that?

Was your period a lot different to usual and have you had unprotected sex recently for you to be worried about a miscarriage?

Would probably be impossible to say if you were only 8 days late. More than likely just a clot, which isn’t usual and perfectly normal.

Yeah I have had unprotected sex this time last month but got the emergency contraceptive pill just scared me because I’ve never normally been this late , thanks guys anyway! Xx
