Mrs Wordsmith?

Anyone use it for their kids? DS could use some help with expanding his vocabulary.

Hi OP, We have the Mrs Wordsmith storyteller's dictionary. The idea is good, regarding captivating pictures to describe the word and usage. But, the way they are grouped isn't always helpful for a child to use independently. They have a word-of-the-day product (I am on the fence atm about ordering it). I reckon that might be more helpful to increase vocabulary.

Has anyone else had problems with this company? I ordered a pack as a Christmas present after reading a thread on here and it didn’t turn up. I then contacted the delivery company shortly before Christmas, who said there was a problem and it hadn’t been delivered but the company who sold it were aware. I emailed Mrs Wordsmith but the email bounced back from the account they had been contacting me on and I couldn’t see anything on the website that indicated how to contact them.

It still hasn’t arrived and I am now on Facebook (I wasn’t previously) so I have managed to contact them by messenger. I got this rather uncharming reply (will post in new post below):

Message they sent:

“Thank you for your message.

We are sincerely sorry that you still have not received the pack.

Unfortunately, we have a terms and conditions stating that if a customer has not received their order, they should contact us within 30 days of order. We are sincerely sorry but at this stage there is nothing much we could do.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
