Bit of a long shot, but does anybody know which font Royal Mail use on their post boxes? Is it unique to them (v probably), anywhere this can be downloaded?

The reason for asking is I have just acquired a fab replica post box but it is without the collection details / poster and I want to make a personal one to go in it.

It is called RM Regular.

Shoeshelpplease · 16/01/2019 10:19

Wow, that was quick. Do you know where it can be downloaded safely (I'm v suspicious of a lot of these sites!) and for free? Sorry, not asking much am I?

Sorry am off out now, I remember it from an article for the rebrand a few years ago (elephant memory!).

NoFucksImAQueen · 16/01/2019 10:42

you've acquired a post box? I'm very jealous!

Any decent font foundry will have it - IF RM haven't protected it, which they may well have.

You don't need to be wary of either of the above free sites - they're safe!
What a cool piece to have.

Hi there!
Sorry this is an incredibly late reply, nevertheless, I thought I may as well, since I too was looking for this font!
The correct name of the font family is 'Chevin' and a link to the font is here: www.myfonts.com/collections/chevin-std-font-g-type?tab=familyPackages
