Netflix show vanished without trace?

This afternoon I started watching a show called Better Things (starring an actress called Pamela Adlon) on Netflix. I watched about three episodes but had to stop so I thought I'd carry on now, except I can't because the show has totally vanished, WTF?
Has anyone watched it? It's not in my viewing activity or continue watching, and it doesn't even come up on a search. I googled it and do you know what it said, "we would like to show you a description but the site won't let us". WTF???? Any ideas?

Was it definitely on Netflix - not iplayer or amazon or something

wtfnetflix · 15/01/2019 23:00

Yes, definitely, I don't use amazon and it was doing the Netflix thing of continuing automatically to next episode (or I prob wouldn't have got to three). It's so weird!

Are you sure you haven’t watched it on BBC iplayer? It’s on there.

Weird for Netflix to just remove it in a day, it usually says last chance to watch.

Really weird! It’s on amazon prime but can’t see it on Netflix 😕

Series 1 started last week on BBC2 so it's on iPlayer - I wonder if Netflix have pulled it because it's on the BBC and it's just unfortunate timing?

screamuntilthewarisover · 15/01/2019 23:06

It’s amazing. Just been added to bbc iPlayer

wtfnetflix · 15/01/2019 23:06

Oh my, I'm such a ninny! I could have sworn it was Netflix. There it is Blush mega embarrassed Blush

Did anyone else think this thread was gonna be about a Netflix show called "Vanished without a trace?". I thought ooh that sounds good 😂

GreenDinosaur · 15/01/2019 23:06

They do take things off every so often without any warning, it's highly irritating!
Not much you can do about it though. Sometimes things return, I was watching Weeds ages ago and that vanished, I see its back now but I can't remember where I got to and can't be bothered to start again.

Vickbas · 15/01/2019 23:07

It's available to stream on iplayer apparently, if you want to keep watching it.

Yes Gunpowder, I was interested 😂

itswinetime · 15/01/2019 23:08

It's on Iplayer

AtSea1979 · 15/01/2019 23:08

Gunpowder yes me!

wtfnetflix · 15/01/2019 23:09

Sorry to Netflix! I never watch tv during the day, that's my excuse! It was excellent anyway, glad I can see the rest of it.

They do remove things things though. I still mourn the last episode of the American version of the Bridge.
