How long after a fall would you see a dr?

I took a bad fall last Friday, I could bear weight for the most part, so just used hot and cold compresses and a couple anti inflammatories.
The discoloration is much better, but the pain is still sharp, and when I accidently bumped it today, I almost threw up from the pain.
There is no "feel" of a sharp edge, and no visible break.
Would it be too late to be seen now anyhow?

I'd go get it checked out. I don't think there's ever a 'too late' time.

Also, if damage was done, would it be too late to do anything?

I should have gone in sooner, but I kept thinking I was just being a wuss when it came to pain

Nope, not too late. I'd make an appointment with your gp.

I'd get it checked out too, particularly as there's still lots of pain when knocked.

LikeACowsOpinion · 15/01/2019 17:25

Ouch, that looks really painful!

I would go to minor injuries if you've got one near you, only because it will probably need an X-Ray and the GP can't do that.
It'll be easier and quicker to just bypass the surgery rather than making an appointment and getting a referral.

Hope it feels better soon Thanks

Thank you! I will try and get it checked after work tonight

It still could be broken or at least chipped. Certainly worth an x-ray so you can protected while it heals.

I just wasnt sure if they'd say it was too late, or something. I really suck at this self care thing sometimesBlush
