HELP DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT VISAS?

In a nut shell
I have found the LOVE OF MY LIFE
He is in the coutry on a Tier 2 Intercompany work visa which runs out in 2022 this means he has to go home and cant apply to stay as far as we can tell.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this sort of thing please??

Plenty of time until 2022.

Get in touch with an immigration solicitor I’m sure they will have the best advice.

this is the bit that it looks like we cant get around.....

  1. If you initially applied for Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) on or after 6 April 2010, you cannot qualify for settlement

You’ve got 3 years before this becomes a problem. See an immigration lawyer and work out how to sort it.

Or you could move to his home country?

as far as i can see i think he would have to go home and theres a cooling off period of 12 months before he can apply again

pottering youre right... im thinking too far ahead..... but it makes me sad to think we have no future if he has to go home
