Things you asked for Christmas/Birthdays over the years but never got

i remember when i was a child , asking for a coke tap to be added to the fridge every year for about 4 years but never got it.

A pony. Then a horse. Didn't get either one of them. Did get a plastic horse for a Sindy doll though so I suppose I mustn't grumble.

Mr frosty here too. Like a previous poster, DH bought me one as an adult. They are shit, a massive disappointment sadly.

I always wanted pony too but really knew we could never afford it so was always a dream rather than something on the birthday list. I've got three now 😀. Oh and I wanted guinea pigs (they WERE on a list), never did, got four of them at work now.

A horse but knew it wouldn't happen. We just weren't a horsey family even though I did ride (and rather well, from what I remember). My parents almost bought me a pony once, but she was sold to a dealer and shipped to France for meat before they could do it AngrySad

A rocking horse, and a remote control car.

I once dreamt that I woke up to a rocking horse in my room. I can still remember vividly how disappointed I was it was only a dream Sad

(I made sure my DD got one for her first birthday!!)
