Potty training accidents

How many accidents is typical when potty training? And for how long do accidents go on for?

DD has been in pants for 10 days. She's still having at least one accident a day.

DS has it totally cracked at day 3 so I'm comparing to him.

Is this fairly typical?

My eldest was having at least one accident a day for about 4 weeks. Usually when she was completely focussed on something and just forgot. Or left it slightly too late and couldn't get her bottoms down in time at nursery. My youngest seems to be pretty much there after 5 days! No such thing as typical I'm afraid! But as it's not every time, I'd say your lo is definitely cracking it.

Thanks for the reassurance. She's only 23 months so I've got constant paranoia that I've tried this too soon.

She is using the toilet much more than she's having accidents.
